When your third workshop subscribes you become an Ambassador workshop: a lifetime badge on the public map, customer portal and app, plus a bonus month. It recognizes those who grow the network — not a ranking: no leaderboards between colleagues.

Am I inviting a competitor?
Invite whoever you want: the colleague you met at a race or trade fair, the workshop in your holiday town, the mechanic from the online group. And about what the other side sees: you'll only see the status of their journey (invited, signed up, active) — never their customers, data or revenue. The same applies in reverse.
What if the invited workshop stays on Free?
Nothing happens: they keep using CrankPal Free, you simply don't earn the credit. The reward only vests when their first invoice is actually paid.
How much is the credit worth and where do I see it?
It's worth the monthly fee of the lower plan between yours and the invited workshop's, at your country's prices: with equal plans it's a free month. It's automatically deducted from your next invoice (one credit per invoice, others stay queued) and you can track it in Settings → "Refer a workshop".
Does the Ambassador badge expire?
No: it's a milestone you've reached, it lasts for life. You can choose at any time whether to show it on public pages, from Settings.
What exactly does the workshop that invited me get?
One month of credit on their fee when you subscribe: we tell you openly because that's how the program works, for both sides. Your 3 free months don't change in any way.
The program is governed by its dedicated terms: vesting conditions, revocation in case of abuse and the right to change the program are described there.
