How to read these numbers
This is a simplified, deliberately conservative estimate: it starts from average reference lifespans and applies just a few factors (bike type, terrain, riding in the wet), with rounded values. It doesn't account for your weight, riding style, component quality, maintenance, tyre pressure or the actual conditions of each ride. Use it as an order of magnitude, not a precise deadline: real-world life can vary a lot.
