The hard part of a forecast is not the maths: it is the kilometres, which almost nobody writes down. CrankPal takes them wherever they are. The customer’s phone recognises rides on its own, with no Strava and no GPS. Anyone with a Bluetooth speed sensor on the wheel, whatever the brand, gives kilometres measured from wheel revolutions. Anyone on Strava or Garmin brings them from there, and the same ride arriving from two sources counts once. You set up nothing: the kilometres land on the bike’s record and the forecast moves on between one service and the next.
